Yes! Our refill pouches are recyclable. While they can’t be placed in your household recycling bin, they can easily be recycled through supermarket collection points. These specialist facilities are designed to handle flexible plastics, ensuring the material is properly processed and given a second life. You can also bring your empty pouches back to us in-store and we’ll recycle them for you. By choosing a refill, you’re helping to reduce single-use plastic and supporting a more sustainable way to enjoy your favourite wash.

If you don’t use the full pouch in one go, reseal tightly and store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, the pouch has a shelf life of around 12 months.

Each refill pouch is 600ml, which is enough to top up your Essence of Harris hand wash bottle twice.
