Delivery & Shipping Information

At Essence of Harris, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. Below you’ll find all the details about how we ship your orders, delivery timeframes, and what to expect when your parcel is on its way.

UK Delivery

All orders are dispatched from our factory on the Isle of Harris.

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, although during busy periods it may take a little longer. Our Express Delivery service guarantees dispatch the next working day. 

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, and orders placed after 8am on Friday will be dispatched Monday morning.  

UK Delivery Options

Standard Delivery – £4.95

  • Royal Mail Tracked 2nd Class
  • Estimated delivery: allow up to 5 working days from dispatch.
  • Free Standard Delivery on UK orders over £50.00

Express Delivery - £7.95

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24
  • Estimated delivery: 1–2 working days from dispatch.
  • Order before 8am, Monday to Friday, for same-day dispatch.

Delivery timeframes begin once your order has been dispatched and are dependent on Royal Mail services.

Orders are shipped via Royal Mail, Parcel Force, or a local courier service, depending on the size and location of your order. Tracking details will be sent to the email address you provide at checkout.

Important:

  • Please double-check your delivery address before completing your order. We cannot guarantee address changes once your order has been processed, though we’ll do our best to help if you contact us quickly at info@essenceofharris.com or via live chat.
  • If you provide a mobile number at checkout, Royal Mail will usually send you text updates, including a delivery window. Missed delivery notifications may be sent by text, email, or via a card through your door.
  • Occasionally, delivery times may be affected by factors outside of our control such as severe weather or transport delays from the island.

 

International Shipping

We’re delighted to ship worldwide.

  • Shipping Costs – Calculated at checkout, based on your location and order size.
  • Estimated Delivery Time – Please allow 7–10 working days from dispatch.

Customs & Import Duties:
 International orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or tariffs, depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are set by local authorities and are outside of our control. We recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order. Essence of Harris cannot accept responsibility for any customs delays or additional charges incurred.

 

Order Dispatch

  • You’ll receive an order confirmation email when we’ve received your order.
  • A dispatch email (with tracking details) will be sent once your order leaves our factory.
  • We aim to process orders within 24–48 hours, although during busy periods this may take a little longer.
  • Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, and orders placed after 8am on Friday will be dispatched Monday morning. 

 

Missing Orders

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us at info@essenceofharris.com or via live chat. We’ll investigate with our shipping partners and keep you updated until your parcel reaches you.

 

Local Pickup (Click & Collect)

If you’re nearby, you can collect your order directly from our Tarbert factory. Simply select Local Pickup at checkout. We’ll send you a notification as soon as your order is ready for collection.
