Self-Care Tips you can Start Today

Celebrate Wellness Week by introducing some of these self-care tips into your everyday life, you will soon reap the benefits and feel all the better for it.
It’s easy to get swept away in the stresses of daily life and forget to take time for yourself. Now more than ever we need to take care of ourselves and indulge in a little self-care now and again and this is your reminder to do it today.
Self-care is such a personal experience, and no two self-care routines look the same. What soothes your soul might not work for your friends and that is okay. You don’t need to incorporate every self-care tip into your life but small changes to your day can make all the difference. Do remember to only do things that add value to your life and don’t just follow a trend. If the idea of a 30-minute yoga class fills you with dread and not the zen energy you crave that’s okay, a walk could be just as rewarding.

Daily Exercise

It doesn’t have to be anything too strenuous, and I know daily exercise can seem daunting but getting in at least 30 minutes of light exercise each day is guaranteed to brighten your day and lift your mood.
It’s important to find a form of exercise that suits you. Don’t worry if you’re not a runner, a brisk walk is just as good for your wellbeing. Why not try something totally new and follow an online Zumba class! It might be a little out your comfort zone, but it could be just what you need. Maybe you have always wanted to try yoga but don’t know where to begin? Head over to our Instagram account and follow some of our guided yoga routines (there’s also some meditation in there), it’s perfect for beginners.
