Our Adru Reed Diffuser Refill lets you top up your original vessel with the same deep, woody blend of wild nettle, oakmoss, black peppercorn, sandalwood, and musk. A simple, sustainable way to reduce waste while keeping your home infused with warmth.

Inspiration

Inspired by the history and provenance of the island, Adru was the first name given to the Isle of Harris itself, on an ancient map by Greek astronomer Ptolemy. Breathe and take in the aromas of our rugged landscape from the hills in the North, to the rolling peat moorland, and vast glens carved by glaciers.

How to Use

Carefully pour the refill into your clean, empty diffuser vessel and insert fresh reeds for the best performance. Allow up to 24 hours for the fragrance to fully diffuse.

Always refill over a protected surface, wash hands after handling. Always place your diffuser on a protective surface away from heat, sunlight, children, and pets.

Can I reuse reeds with a new refill?

We would recommend replacing your reeds when you refill your diffuser, as old reeds can get clogged and won’t diffuse the fragrance as effectively.

How often should I flip the reeds?

We recommend flipping your reeds once a week, or whenever you’d like a stronger burst of fragrance. Flipping your reeds can encourage the oil to evaporate more quickly, so we wouldn’t recommend doing this too often.

Where should I place my reed diffuser?

For the best results, choose somewhere with good air circulation, like a hallway or living space. Keep your diffuser out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources as this can cause the fragrance oil to evaporate faster. We also suggest placing your diffuser on a protective surface, as spills can sometimes mark delicate surfaces.
