A few weeks back, we welcomed the host of Channel 5’s ‘Secret Scotland,’ Susan Calman to the Essence of Harris factory where she experienced an exclusive candle-making workshop with our founder, Jamie. Susan got involved in the candle making process from start to finish, from selecting her own fragrance, to melting, blending and pouring wax – and finally choosing a name for her candle to remind her of her time on Harris.

Hand pouring products that reflect our island home is the driving force behind everything we do here at Essence of Harris. Our passion, our craft and our provenance are embedded in the island we are lucky to call home. Pictured below is our factory floor where all our products are hand poured by our team here on the island.
